WHO : DoPhygital is an initiative from a group of Automotive Enthusiasts employed/retired in/from some of the top Automotive Companies in the world
WHY : There is a huge skill gap between the graduates from the college and Automotive Industry requirement. Thus we want to make the country’s resources to be Industry ready.
HOW : We are on a dedicated mission to improve the employability of students and develop them for the Electric Vehicle boom in India. We leverage the “Learn Digital Do Physical” methodology to make each student suitable for Industry.
Focus on Electric Vehicles & Digital Manufacturing
The Indian EV market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 44% during 2021-2027, with the annual sales hitting 63 lakh units by 2027,India is still in a nascent stage of EV adoption.
Over 67% of manufacturers have adoption of digital technologies and the pandemic accelerated the need of Phygital Technologies. And it is paying off. Product launch of Automotive industry has been reduced from 60 months to 48 months by right deployment of Digital Manufacturing. Digital technologies can reduce the time required for maintenance planning by 20–50 percent, increase equipment uptime and availability by 10–20 percent, and reduce overall maintenance costs by 5–10 percent.
There is a huge skill gap between the graduates from the college and Automotive Industry requirement. DoPhygital want to play the vital role to bring the Industry ready resources and support both College students & Industry.
